Separate the context, not just the yarn
Each project needs its own record of the pattern, current row or round, materials, and next action. A single notebook page for many projects can work, but only if every note starts with an unmistakable project name.
Use a restart checkpoint
Before switching projects, record the current count and the exact next instruction. If a project is paused for a week, also note why: waiting for yarn, checking fit, or simply changing to another make. That context helps you choose the right project later.
