Row or round mode
When you create a project, choose the counter type that matches the pattern. The project counter can be used for rows or rounds, and the counter workspace also provides step and repeat controls for instructions that need a second running value.
Saved with the project
The count is part of the project's progress state. That means a project switch does not require you to remember which number belonged to which make. Add a short note for the repeat or page whenever the number alone would be ambiguous.
A quick counter for one-off work
SkeinHub also has a quick counter for a standalone count that does not need a full project record. Use a named project when the count needs to stay connected to a pattern or longer-term progress.
What this feature does not do
It does not scan your stitches, interpret arbitrary pattern instructions, or automatically correct a mismatch. Use the counter as a reliable record of your action, and check the physical stitch total where the pattern calls for it.
